President Zimm thank you for a very well written letter. You are absolutely right! We need to ban together and fight for one cause. Get our money and benefits back. We need to disband the negative rhetoric that "We arent getting anything back" and fight for what is ours. The company sees this negativity and thats why they are acting upon the way they are. We, as members, have a great opportunity to make a change that hasnt been done in decades. We have all the leverage on our side and most importantly, we have the right leadership along with the rest of the presidents councel to accomplish this feat. No matter what obstacles, within the TWU organization, we have to surcome in order to win back what is ours in the first place! So I say lets take down that negative barrier and ALL join together and get back what is ours!!!!

Bravo President Zimm! I like your letter and its very true. We the members need to abondon the negative rhetoric like "We arent getting nothing on this contract" and start fighting for what is ours and get back what was taken from us. The mechanics need to begin working together for our common goal and accomplish what we all want; our pay and benefits! We have the right leadership and with the rest of the presidents council on the same page we should have no obstacle, including the cancer that resides inside of the TWU organization! Lets all make it our goal to work together and become prosperous next year!!! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Well it is about time we have a president who thinks like the rest of us and can write a letter. I'm impressed, and I apoligize for not voting for the guy.

First off thanks for the forum to vent in, something that has been missing from our local since it began.

As far as the letter, I'm speechless. I've never had a leader who has said exactly what I've been thinking. I know it's early, but seeing the new leadership on the floor more times in the first few months than the the previous leaders did over their entire term. Having them welcome a website like this to hold their feet to the fire is also promising. Heck I even got Christmas off this year, that never happened before.

Merry Christmas to all...
